Nine airlines have joined the TSA PreCheck program, including Japan Airlines, TAP Air Portugal, Air India, China Airlines, Eva Airways, Volaris, and Asiana Airlines.
Eastern Airlines and Elite Airways, charter carriers, have also joined, according to Travel Weekly.
TSA PreCheck allows certain airport benefits for travelers, including a separate security line in many locations. The cost to join for U.S. citizens or permanent residents is $85 for five years.
Members of Global Entry, Nexus, and Sentri also receive the benefits of TSA PreCheck with their respective memberships.
The additions bring the total number of airlines in the program to 65.
